Saudi Arabia has arrested 78 people in 6 ministries.

The Saudi Control and Anti-Corruption Authority “Nazaha” announced that it had arrested 78 people in 6 ministries, including the Ministries of Interior and Defense, for their involvement in corruption, bribery and money laundering crimes.

In a statement issued by it, today, Saturday, the Supervisory Authority stated that “the supervision rounds amounted to 3,207 rounds, while the total number of investigations reached 116, while the number of detainees reached 78 people, including those who were released on bail.”

The watchdog pointed out that the tours included the ministries of Defense, Interior, Health, Justice, Education, Municipal and Rural Affairs, and Housing.

The watchdog pointed out that the most prominent crimes of financial and administrative corruption were bribery, abuse of power, money laundering and forgery, calling on everyone to report any suspicions of financial and administrative corruption.

On June 28, the Supervisory Authority announced that it had investigated 171 defendants, and arrested 48 defendants, including those who were released on bail.
